Meet Dr. Qiang Cao, a distinguished figure in the world of acupuncture and Oriental medicine, who serves as a respected professor at Bastyr University. Dr. Cao's journey began at the esteemed Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), renowned as one of China's premier TCM medical institutions. His exceptional talent earned him recognition as the top graduate, leading him to contribute his skills at the esteemed Shanghai Longhua University Hospital, a prominent TCM medical center.
With over a decade of experience as a TCM physician in China, Dr. Cao arrived in Seattle in 1987 to embark on a new chapter in his healing journey. Here, he achieved a remarkable feat by attaining a doctorate degree in Naturopathic medicine while co-founding the pioneering acupuncture program at Bastyr University. For more than 35 years, Dr. Cao has been an unwavering pillar of knowledge, sharing his expertise and overseeing acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine at Bastyr University.
