Dr. Yun serves as an adjunct faculty member at Bastyr University, nurturing future practitioners through her dedication to teaching.
Dr. Yun's journey in the realm of healing is guided by her name itself. "Yun" (韻) translates to "rhythm" or "rhyme" in Chinese, a name bestowed upon her by her grandfather with the heartfelt wish that she would infuse joy and harmony into the lives of those she touches. Drawing an analogy to the artistry of creating beautiful music, Dr. Yun harmoniously orchestrates various approaches to deliver optimal care to her patients. Her profound understanding of the human body enables her to navigate diverse pathways to restoration, guiding patients back to their pinnacle of well-being.
Beyond her academic achievements, Dr. Yun's compassion and dedication shine through her extraordinary endeavors. She ventured to Nepal, where she served as a primary care provider at the Bajrabarahi clinic, touching the lives of countless individuals in an underserved region. Her commitment to excellence was evident as she tackled intricate pathologies with unwavering determination. Her exemplary work caught the attention of the president of the Acupuncture Relief Project, Dr. Andrew Schlabach, who praised her as a paragon of competency, ethics, and compassion. Beyond musculoskeletal expertise, Dr. Yun embraces a diverse spectrum of pain management, including psychogenic and neurogenic origins, cancer, arthritis, and post-surgery recovery. Dr. Yun's expertise also spans geriatric health, women's health, sports medicine, and lifestyle and nutrition guidance.
Outside healing realms, Dr. Yun revels in exploration and creativity, capturing life's beauty through photography and sketches shared on Instagram (yunxiao_blf). A philosophy of gratitude infuses her existence, igniting her passion for every encounter.
